Fine Arts

Manhattan Academy puts great value in the fine arts. It is an integral part of our students’ academic life and pursues character development and academic excellence along the way.

The fine arts program provides students numerous opportunities for individual creativity and expression through a range of subjects in visual arts, music, and drama. Fine arts courses emphasize creativity, discovery, and development of an appreciation and respect for the ideas and efforts of others.

Throughout the year, students will be performing in front of each other as well as the community. This will enable them to share what they have learned and gain self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment with each performance.

The Spring Vocal Concert and the Holiday Show are two of our main performances for the school year. However, we also have our annual Art Gallery, showcasing the pieces of art the children have created throughout the year, piano and vocal recitals, poetry readings and an Arts Benefit Concert as well.
