What do you love most about your job?
Watching a child’s face light up when he/she accomplishes something.

What is your favorite book? Who is your favorite author?
“Man of the House” by Jay Smith. The book is about former Congressman John Rhodes of Arizona. The author is my best friend, Jay Smith, who was Rhodes’ press secretary when we were in our 20’s. We’ve been great friends for 32 years! The book is exciting because we lived through and experienced U.S. History in the making.

Where is the last place you traveled?
Minneapolis-as a chaperone for my daughter’s volleyball travel club. They qualified to play in the national tournament.

Speech class
